The World Poker Tour is played at prestigious venues across the globe. The most notable WPT destination is Wynn Las Vegas, home of the annual WPT World Championship held each December. Other prominent WPT host venues include the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida; Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Oklahoma; the HyperX Arena at Luxor in Las Vegas; and the Frontón in Mexico City for WPT500 Mexico.

The 2025 WPT World Championship will be held at the Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of a multi-week festival running in December. The highlight is the WPT World Championship main event alongside the ClubWPT Gold $5,000,000 Invitational Freeroll, which guarantees $1,000,000 to first place. Throughout the year, the World Poker Tour also hosts stops at casinos across North America, Europe, and Asia, with buy-ins ranging from WPT Prime events at $1,100 to the flagship $10,400 main tour events.

Keven Stammen won the 2014 WPT World Championship, taking home $1,350,000. He secured the victory by defeating Byron Kaverman heads-up in the WPT’s $15,400 championship event. This remains the largest live tournament cash of Stammen’s career. The 2014 WPT World Championship was held as part of Season XII of the World Poker Tour, which featured stops across North America and Europe before culminating in the championship event.
