Players from the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and several other jurisdictions cannot access real-money games due to local licensing regulations. Players from eligible countries like Canada, Brazil, Germany, and most of Asia can sign up, deposit, and play real-money poker on WPT Global. Always check the latest terms and conditions on the WPT Global website to confirm your country’s eligibility before creating an account.

Yes, a woman has won a WPT event. Ema Zajmovic made history in 2017 by becoming the first woman ever to win an open WPT event, claiming victory in the inaugural edition of WPT Playground in Montreal, Canada. She won $146,000 for her historic achievement. Since then, other women have also found success on the WPT, including several deep runs at WPT final tables. Zajmovic’s win remains a milestone moment for women in poker and has inspired more female participation in WPT events worldwide.
