Yes, the World Poker Tour (WPT) still exists and remains one of the most prestigious and active poker tours in the world in 2025. The WPT is currently producing its 22nd season, with the year-round television show broadcasting to over 150 countries and territories. In the United States, the show airs on Bally’s Sports Regional Networks. Beyond television, the WPT operates a full schedule of live events across the globe, including the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas (December 13-21, 2025), WPT500 Mexico City, WPT Choctaw, WPT Seminole Hard Rock, and international stops in Europe and Asia.

WPT Global is available to players from most countries around the world, though there are important restrictions. Players from the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and several other jurisdictions cannot access real-money games due to local licensing regulations. Players from eligible countries like Canada, Brazil, Germany, and most of Asia can sign up, deposit, and play real-money poker on WPT Global. Always check the latest terms and conditions on the WPT Global website to confirm your country’s eligibility before creating an account.

No, US players cannot play on WPT Global for real money. WPT Global is not available in the United States, the United Kingdom, or in Southern European countries with ring-fenced poker licensing systems such as France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. However, US players can use ClubWPT Gold, which operates under a sweepstakes model and is legal in most US states (excluding Washington, Michigan, Montana, and Idaho). ClubWPT Gold offers tournaments and cash games where players can win real cash prizes through sweepstakes mechanics.

While WPT Global markets itself as an inclusive platform, not all countries are eligible to play due to regulatory and licensing restrictions. WPT Global is available in many countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, but certain regions are restricted. Countries where WPT Global is NOT available include Mexico, Australia, Bulgaria, Colombia, Curaçao, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
