WPT500 Mexico City is a two-day event taking place at the Fronton in Mexico City between May 30-31. It costs $550 and has $500,000 guaranteed. Everyone sits down with 30,000 chips, and plays to a 30-minute clock where the blinds and antes start at 100/100/100a. The plan for Day 1 is to play down to the money, which will be approximately 12.5% of the field, with play resuming on Day 2 with the addition of WPT Global players that have navigated their way through online Day 1s.

WPT Global customers can get involved in the WPT500 Mexico City Day 1s online from the comfort of their homes. Online Day 1s are great because you can grind out as many as you wish and only make the trip to Mexico City if you make it to Day 2.

Should you make it through to Day 2 from an online Day 1, you receive $1,000 into your WPT Global account for travel expenses. In addition, progress to Day 2 more than once, and you sit down in the Live Day 2 with your largest stack, with your other smaller stacks forfeited but paid out as a min-cash.

Satellites for the WPT500 Mexico City start at only $5, which opens the door for everyone to get involved in this WPT Global-exclusive event.

WPT Mystery Bounty Schedule For May 30-31

It is not only the $500,000 guaranteed WPT500 Mexico City that is taking place at the Fronton in Mexico City but a WPT Mystery Bounty event, too. Scheduled for May 30-31, the WPT Mystery Bounty costs $5,000 to enter, and sees WPT Global adding $50,000 worth of mystery bounties to the prize pool! $1,000 is the smallest guaranteed bounty, with the other prizes to be determined once the prize pool is known.

There will be additional bounties on the heads of WPT Global Ambassadors and Influencers that are making their way to the tournament. At least one of these extra bounties will be seated at each table when the tournament begins.

Be aware that the WPT Mystery Bounty can only be bought in with funds in your WPT Global account, and any winnings, including bounties, will land in your WPT Global playable account balance.
